The Clamcleat® CL257 Auto-Release clamps offer the neatest and best solution as overload protection. The clamps hold Dyneema lines securely but release them immediately when the clamp is overloaded. Once activated, it can be easily reset within seconds by pushing the clamp back into the base. The CL257 features an adjustable cam so that the release tension can be adjusted. The cam can be easily adjusted with a Phillips screwdriver. Once it returns to the “plus” the Dyneema line will again be held against the maximum allowable conditions. The CL257 is designed for Dyneema lines of 4-6 mm.
