The Clamcleat® CL257 Auto-Release clamps offer the neatest and best solution for overload protection. The clamps hold the Dyneema lines securely, but release them immediately when the clamp is overloaded. Once activated, it can be easily reset in seconds by pushing the clamp back into the base. The CL257 is equipped with an adjustable cam so that the release tension can be adjusted. The cam can be easily adjusted with a Phillips screwdriver. Once this is back to the “plus” position, the Dyneema line will again be held against the maximum allowable conditions. The CL257 is designed for Dyneema lines of 4-6 mm.
