14 years of expertise,
still a family business

Over fourteen years ago, the first foundations were laid in the construction and development towards our own revolutionary solar sail system. Inspired by the solar sails that were then very popular in Australia and South Africa, our engineer at the time went to work. The result? A new kind of solar fabric and solar sail system: a durable solution that can handle the vagaries of our climate and not only provides shade, but also guarantees optimal drainage and wind resistance.

By now, our tarpaulin covers have been developed to perfection in design, durability and technology. We are proud of this know-how. Thanks to our years of experience, we can design the best and most exclusive tarpaulin cover for you, produce it largely in-house and install it with our own construction teams, completely according to your taste. Yes, we dare to call ourselves masters in custom tarpaulins.

In 2009, I made a career switch and entered the world of membrane architecture. Shaping custom design and functionality became my 2nd nature. When I got the opportunity to start my own company I did not hesitate for a moment. Thus, HOOVER ^Concepts®Textile Structures was born. Together with my husband Edwin and our loyal team of sales people, engineers and mechanics, we enthusiastically build on the success of HOOVER ^Concepts® every day. Our biggest priority? To create for you a solution that aesthetically and functionally meets your needs.

Because of my background and education in sales management and business administration, I have extensive experience in various industries. Together with Chrissie, I have integrated that experience into the success of HOOVER ^Concepts®. That we do this as husband and wife makes us unique and we are proud of that. My focus within HOOVER ^Concepts®? Bringing the right people together. By putting our shoulders under each project together, we achieve great results every time.
